The role
This role will sit within the architecture team as the sole data architect. You'll work alongside the Enterprise Architect, Solution Architects, and the Data Engineering and Data Analyst teams.

You will:
• Surface and reuse data within their environment.
• Direct the company's data strategy.
• Focus on enterprise-level data usage from end to end.
• Design end-to-end solutions.
• Work closely with the business and technical resources.

Key qualifications and skills:
• Mid-to-senior level experience.
• Experience architecting, including understanding business needs and trade-offs.
• Experience with modern data architectures, particularly Azure-based solutions.
• Experience designing end-to-end solutions.
• Experience working with both business stakeholders and technical resources.
• Someone who can take a leading role in the organization, not a team lead.
• Design experience.
• Understanding of data modeling and pipelines.
• Knowledge of non-functional requirements.
• Experience with Azure data technologies, particularly Azure Data Lake and Data Bricks.
• Familiarity with cloud and on-premises data integration.
• Strong communication skills.
