Our client & the Role:
We’re partnering with a newly established organisation in the Waikato region embarking on a major transformation programme to build their systems and operations from the ground up. This is a greenfield environment, fast-paced, and highly rewarding for someone who thrives in start-up-style settings.
You’ll join a small, agile team tasked with working with vendors to implement core HR and Payroll systems as part of a broader organisational setup. This is a pivotal role where you’ll bridge business needs and technical delivery - shaping processes, mapping workflows, and ensuring a smooth transition to fit-for-purpose solutions that support an entirely new workforce.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Business analysis across HR and Payroll implementation workstreams.
- Elicit, document, and validate business and system requirements.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to define end-to-end processes.
- Bring structure and clarity to a fast-moving, greenfield environment.
- Must have experience as a Senior Business Analyst in HRIS/Payroll implementations (e.g. Workday, PayGlobal, Datacom, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar).
- Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-paced settings where systems and processes are still being established.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, able to operate confidently with executives, and technical teams.
- Available to start immediately or within short notice, and able to work 1–2 days per week onsite in Hamilton.
