Are you a commercially savvy Financial Controller looking for your next challenge? My client is seeking a hands-on finance leader to join their team on a 12-month fixed term contract, where you’ll play a key role in shaping the company’s financial future.

This is more than just numbers, it’s about making an impactful difference. You’ll partner directly with the CEO, Board, and leadership team to drive performance. 

Responsibilities will include but not be limited t o;

• Leading the day-to-day financial and general accounting operations
• Provide insightful financial analysis and reporting, present to the Board
• Drive the annual budgeting process (OPEX and CAPEX) and align spend with strategic goals
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with NZ GAAP 
• Oversee all statutory and tax obligations (GST, FBT, PAYE, income tax)
• Lead AP/AR ensuring smooth day-to-day operations

• CA or CPA qualification (preferred)
• 5+ years’ experience in a senior accounting or finance role
• SaaS or technology industry experience (preferred, not essential)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Confidence using a variety of financial systems and AI-enabled tools
