Are you a technically strong finance professional who thrives on bringing clarity and structure to complex environments?

We’re looking for a Finance Assurance & Process Improvement Lead to enhance controls, strengthen governance and support process maturity across the customer lifecycle - from customer onboarding through to invoicing and cash collection.

This is not a BAU finance role. It’s a hands-on opportunity to uplift processes, embed robust controls and support a business evolving through growth and change.

This is a high-growth, NZ-founded technology company operating across the US, AU and NZ. The business delivers connected hardware and SaaS solutions to commercial customers, helping organisations improve fleet visibility, compliance, safety and operational efficiency.

With a large subscription customer base and integrated CRM and billing platforms, the environment is fast-paced, commercially focused and systems-driven. As the business continues to scale and evolve, there is a strong focus on enhancing governance, ensuring billing integrity and building sustainable processes to support long-term growth.

The Opportunity
You’ll work across Finance, Sales, Operations and Technology to:
  • Review and document end-to-end customer lifecycle processes
  • Clarify documentation standards and approval frameworks
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen controls and system alignment
  • Enhance billing accuracy and revenue integrity
  • Embed preventative, system-based safeguards
This role is about lifting process capability and ensuring what is agreed with customers is accurately reflected in systems and billing outcomes.

What We’re Looking For
  • Strong background in accounting, audit, compliance or finance assurance
  • Experience with billing processes and revenue controls
  • Exposure to high-volume customer environments
  • Confident working cross-functionally
  • Solid understanding of financial controls and revenue recognition
  • CRM/ERP exposure
  • Experience in process mapping and control design
  • Comfortable providing clarity and structure
  • Commercially pragmatic with strong governance mindset
  • Clear communicator who can influence and educate
  • Resilient and adaptable in evolving environments
  • Naturally process-driven with a continuous improvement mindset
