This is a highly visible role where you'll have ownership of the P&L, lead financial planning and reporting activities, and identify opportunities to improve performance, processes, and systems. You'll be supported by a lean, collaborative team that values curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the monthly reporting cycle, budgeting, forecasting and P&L performance
- Partner closely with Business Unit Managers and operational leaders to provide commercial insight and drive business performance
- Analyse product costing, margins and business results to identify opportunities for improvement
- Monitor working capital, cashflow and inventory performance
- Champion process and systems improvements, including supporting the ongoing use and enhancement of NetSuite
- Lead, support and contribute to business improvement projects and strategic initiatives
- CA, CPA or equivalent qualified with proven commercial finance experience
- Experience owning financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and business performance analysis
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to partner and influence across the business
- A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work autonomously and take ownership
- Curious mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and finding better ways of doing things
- Strong systems aptitude; NetSuite experience would be advantageous but is not essential
- Manufacturing experience preferred, however attitude, fit and willingness to learn are of greater importance
- Someone who can hit the ground running while becoming a valued member of a collaborative, high-performing team
