Key Responsibilities
- Own and support month-end close and reporting
- Prepare journals, reconciliations, and balance sheet reviews
- Manage NZ compliance including GST, PAYE, FBT, and tax obligations
- Support forecasting, cashflow, and financial analysis
- Assist with payroll and wider finance operations
- Identify process improvement, automation, and efficiency opportunities
- Support audit and year-end reporting processes
- Partner with operational stakeholders across the business
- 3–5+ years’ commercial accounting experience
- CA / CPA qualified or working toward completion
- Strong technical accounting and month-end capability
- Understanding of NZ tax compliance
- Positive, proactive, and willing to roll up your sleeves
- Strong communication skills and commercial curiosity
- Interest in systems, automation, and continuous improvement
