Reporting directly to the CFO, you will lead the finance function, manage a team of five direct reports, and partner closely with stakeholders across the business to drive performance and provide commercial insight.
This role suits a hands-on leader who enjoys mentoring teams, building strong relationships, and rolling up their sleeves when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing finance team
- Partner with senior stakeholders across the business
- Drive budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
- Manage cashflow
- Oversee month-end, year-end and audit processes
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of regulatory tax returns
- Support continuous improvement across finance processes and reporting
- Work closely with the CFO on strategic and operational initiatives
- Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role
- Strong people leadership and coaching capability
- Commercially minded with strong business partnering skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Strong understanding of NZ tax and compliance requirements
- Proactive, positive and willing to get involved at all levels
- CA/CPA qualified essential
