We are seeking a senior technology leader to drive enterprise architecture strategy, innovation, and delivery for a major public-facing organisation undergoing significant transformation.

As Head of Technology Strategy & Architecture, you will lead a team of experts and play a critical role in shaping the long-term technology direction. You will be responsible for the creation, governance, and execution of ICT architectural strategies that directly support enterprise goals, operational efficiency, and digital transformation efforts.

This is a strategic, high-impact role working closely with executive leadership. You will bring thought leadership on emerging technologies, design and maintain technology roadmaps aligned to a 10-year plan, and ensure delivery outcomes that are scalable, future-focused, and responsive to community and organisational needs.

Key focus areas include:

• Leading the strategic architecture function and enterprise roadmap development
• Aligning technology initiatives with business priorities and modernising legacy systems
• Providing architecture governance and innovation leadership
• Managing risk, technical debt, and enabling seamless transformation
• Partnering with internal teams and external vendors to ensure fit-for-purpose solutions

• 10+ years in senior technology leadership roles, ideally within complex, multi-stakeholder environments
• Strong expertise in enterprise architecture, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and data
• Proven experience leading through change and shaping large-scale transformation
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Demonstrated ability to influence across both technical and non-technical audiences
