This national business operates in a fast-paced, high-risk environment, and they’re looking for an HR Business Partner who can support managers and frontline teams across the full employee lifecycle. This is a role where your ability to coach, influence, and roll up your sleeves will be valued daily.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver HR support across recruitment, onboarding, ER, performance, and offboarding.
- Partner with managers to guide performance plans, investigations, and workforce planning.
- Lead safety engagement: risk assessments, incident management, and SOP implementation.
- Maintain compliance with employment law and H&S regulations.
- Support H&S inductions, toolbox talks, training, and reporting.
- 5+ years in an HR/H&S advisory or business partner role
- Solid understanding of NZ employment and H&S legislation
- Experience in operational, high-risk environments
- Calm under pressure, solutions-focused, and confident navigating ER matters
- Collaborative, personable, and driven to make a positive impact
