This New Zealand–based technology business supports large, high-volume operations through a platform that connects customers, suppliers, and partners at scale. The company is currently undertaking a major re-platforming programme, rebuilding its core systems from the ground up.
This role sits alongside that programme rather than within it. The focus here is on supporting complex, business-critical integrations that sit outside the core rebuild. The integration function works closely with enterprise customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to enable reliable, ongoing data and system connectivity in a fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, support, and maintain complex integrations with enterprise customers, suppliers, and partners
- Work across high-volume, large-scale integration requests in a busy, demand-driven environment
- Troubleshoot, enhance, and optimise existing integrations to ensure reliability and performance
- Collaborate with product, data, and engineering teams to deliver integration outcomes
- Contribute to integration standards, patterns, and best practices
- Support operational integration work alongside ongoing platform change
- Act as a senior technical point of contact within the integration function
- Senior-level experience in integration engineering
- Deep understanding of integration beyond simple API development
- Proven experience delivering and supporting large-scale integrations
- Strong ability to manage complexity across multiple systems and stakeholders
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with constant new integration requests
- Strong API design and development experience
- Experience working closely with external customers and partners
- Background in complex, data-heavy or transaction-driven environments
