Operating within the financial services sector, this role requires someone comfortable working in a regulated environment and partnering closely with senior leadership. Reporting to the CFO, you will lead and support the finance team while ensuring the continued delivery of high-quality financial reporting, governance, compliance and financial planning.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and supporting a talented finance team while maintaining strong stakeholder engagement across the business
- Ensuring accurate and timely financial, management and regulatory reporting
- Overseeing budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
- Maintaining strong governance, internal controls and audit readiness
- Providing strategic financial insight and advice to the CFO and leadership team
- Overseeing core finance operations including tax compliance, systems integrity and financial processes
- Chartered Accountant (or equivalent) with 10+ years’ post-qualification experience
- Proven experience leading finance teams within financial services or other regulated industries
- Strong technical capability across financial reporting, tax, audit and compliance
- Experience coordinating and finalising budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Experience delivering high-quality Board and executive reporting
- Strong stakeholder engagement and leadership capability
- ERP systems experience (ideally SAP)
