This role is all about supporting managers with Capex planning, forecasting and reporting – from capital works budgets and business cases through to monthly performance analysis and long-term planning. You’ll be hands-on with the numbers, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of WIP balances, but also influencing at a strategic level, giving decision-makers the clarity they need to get the best outcomes from the investment programme.
What you’ll be doing:
- Preparing and monitoring capital budgets, forecasts and long-term plans
- Managing and reporting on WIP balances to ensure timely capitalisation and accuracy
- Delivering Capex and WIP performance reporting (monthly and quarterly) with insights and recommendations
- Supporting managers with capital business plans and management reports
- Developing and reviewing business cases for renewal and new works projects
- Coordinating with finance, property and project teams to ensure accuracy, compliance and audit readiness
- Driving improvements in planning, reporting systems and processes
- CA (or equivalent) qualified with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce
- 5+ years’ finance experience, including at least 3 years in a management accounting/business partner role with with responsibility for Capex evident in your background
- Strong track record in budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
- SAP expertise and advanced Excel/MS Office skills
- Confident communicator with the ability to partner across finance, property, and project teams
