As Procurement Manager, you'll take ownership of a procurement portfolio valued at approximately $70 million, leading a high-performing team responsible for sourcing specialist raw materials, packaging and ingredients that are critical to manufacturing operations. You'll work closely with senior leaders across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales and Finance to ensure the business delivers outstanding service while driving commercial value.
About the Role This is a strategic leadership position where you'll:
- Develop and execute procurement and category strategies across key spend areas.
- Build strong supplier partnerships and negotiate commercially advantageous agreements.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs, improve supplier performance and minimise supply risk.
- Lead procurement planning using ERP/MRP systems to support production and inventory requirements.
- Coach and develop a capable procurement team, creating a culture of continuous improvement.
- Partner with stakeholders across the business to deliver sustainable commercial outcomes.
You'll bring:
- At least five years' experience leading procurement teams and managing significant supplier spend.
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Experience developing category strategies and managing supplier performance.
- A collaborative leadership style with proven people management capability.
- Strong analytical skills and confidence working with ERP/MRP systems.
- The ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution.
