Do you thrive in complex, multi-stakeholder environments where strategic thinking and influence are as important as delivery?
We are seeking a Programme Manager
to lead and coordinate a major sustainability-focused business readiness programme. This role is pivotal to achieving ambitious supply and decarbonisation targets, where your ability to engage senior leaders, connect strategy with delivery, and keep diverse teams aligned will directly influence success.
What you’ll do:
- Lead, coordinate, and track progress across multiple programme workstreams.
- Ensure programme leads are clear on targets, outcomes, and timelines.
- Identify breakdowns early, escalate quickly, and provide solutions to maintain momentum.
- Implement fit-for-purpose project governance, reporting, and risk management frameworks.
- Develop and manage programme budgets for internal and external expenditure.
- Design and introduce digital tools and ways of working to enable efficient delivery.
- Drive clear, compelling communication across the business and with external partners.
- Proven programme or project management experience (qualification desirable).
- Strong stakeholder management – able to influence and engage at senior leadership level.
- Strategic agility and systems thinking, with confidence to challenge and drive outcomes.
- Governance, risk management, and decision-making skills in complex environments.
- Clear, confident communication and ability to build relationships quickly.
- Experience in large-scale change, agile practices, or the energy sector would be an advantage.
You are confident, resilient, and outcomes-driven. You know how to balance the big picture with detail, keep people accountable without losing trust, and adapt to challenges with energy and focus. You thrive in environments where there’s complexity, change, and the need for clear, decisive leadership.
