Solution Architect: Position Overview

Role Purpose
The Solution Architect is a pivotal role within our technology team, tasked with designing and implementing innovative, scalable, and robust solutions that align with business requirements. This role drives continuous improvement in value delivery through technology, balancing architectural design with business constraints to achieve strategic objectives. The Solution Architect provides timely solution designs, decision-making support, and guidance to delivery teams, fostering collaboration across diverse organizational units.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, innovative solutions that align with business and product strategies.
- Provide architectural guidance and decision-making support to delivery teams, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Continuously optimize technology value flow while addressing constraints within the solution landscape.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

We are seeking a passionate, curious, and mildly structured Solution Architect who thrives in dynamic environments. The ideal candidate will:
- Possess several years of experience in solution architecture, with a strong track record of delivering scalable solutions.
- Have a robust technical background, ideally as a former developer or in a technology-focused role, with a deep understanding of technical concepts.
- Bring experience from the telecommunications, utilities, networking, or technology sectors.
- Demonstrate comfort with ambiguity, adapting effectively to evolving requirements and constraints.
- Exhibit excellent communication and visualization skills to articulate solutions and foster collaboration across teams.
This role operates under a hybrid working model, requiring 3 days per week in the office in Hamilton to foster collaboration and engagement, with the flexibility to work remotely for the remaining days.
