Join a well-established food manufacturing business supplying major customers nationwide. You’ll oversee all warehouse functions at the Mt Maunganui site, leading a capable team and partnering with production, planning, and logistics to hit DIFOT, cost, and stock accuracy targets.
What you'll do
- Oversee all warehouse functions including inbound, put-away, picking, dispatch, and inventory control.
- Champion H&S, HACCP/GMP, and food-grade compliance across people, plant, and processes.
- Lead staffing, rosters, training, and performance to maintain an engaged, safe culture.
- Drive stock accuracy through cycle counts, variance investigations, and system integrity in ERP/WMS.
- Optimise layout and material flows while delivering against KPI targets.
- Manage budgets, performance, and equipment upkeep, ensuring DIFOT/OTIF service levels with Production, Planning, QC, and Transport.
- Proven leadership in warehouse or DC operations within food/FMCG (OR regulated manufacturing.)
- Strong H&S mindset with practical knowledge of HACCP/GMP and audit readiness.
- System proficiency; comfortable with data, KPIs, and continuous improvement tools.
- The ability to supervise the use of forklifts; understanding of load security and racking safety.
- Clear communicator who sets standards, coaches teams, and holds people accountable.
